Embroidery has become one of the most defining methods throughout the journey of Lesmetins.
From headwear, tops, bottoms, to accessories, embroidery has always been an essential part of how we translate ideas into something that can be worn and experienced.
Behind much of that process, there is Gede. Someone who has become deeply connected to nearly every embroidery-related production at Lesmetins. From developing designs, translating them into technique, to ensuring the final outcome remains true to what we envisioned, Gede has always been part of that journey.
But to us, Gede has never been just someone we work with. He is family.
Since the early days of Lesmetins, when everything was still starting from zero, Gede has been there and has continued to grow alongside us. From his own home, which gradually transformed into a small production space, with machines that may show their age, yet continue to produce exceptional embroidery quality.
What makes him different is not only the result of his work. But the way he works. The patience in every detail, the understanding of technique, and the way he taught us to see that embroidery is not simply a production process, but a craft that requires precision, experience, and feeling.
We have learned many things from Gede.
That great work does not always come from big places or the newest tools, but from hands that truly understand the craft and a heart that genuinely cares about what is being created.
A small place. With big dreams. And love stitched into the journey of Lesmetins.
